Robyn lince
Robyn’s paintings are meditative and visionary in nature, combining free-flowing abstract and thoughtful realistic elements. Her work facilitates self-discovery with an emphasis on visuals that bridge our natural world to the felt sense of the sacred.
She has four main bodies of work. Inspired Beings, Spaces Places, Imagined Landscapes, and a broad body of visionary and abstract art.
Currently, she’s working on blending her imagined landscapes with themes that often show up in her abstract visionary work. One titled “Warm Wishes” and another inspired by a 150-year-old wisteria in Japan’s Ashikaga Flower Park are in the works. A very special inspired being and a mixed media collage piece inspired by the show “Collective Behavior” that was at the Cincinnati Art Museum in 2005 are also in process.
Robyn’s favorite well-known artist: Agnes Pelton (1881-1961)
Steven lince
Steve's sculptures are made from metal, glass, carved wood, and/or natural objects. They often take on the form of shields or abstract forms. Inspired by nature and technology both.
His paintings are made on wood surfaces with an oil and wax mixture applied by palette knives. He spends time feeling what he wants to add next to bring balance and harmony to his abstract and visionary paintings.
Recently, Steve has been devoting time to his pottery practice. Sculptural art with ceramic pieces are in the works.
Steven’s favorite well-known artists: Andy Goldsworthy (born 1956) and Julio Gonzalez (1876-1942)
