Lince and Lince

The Visionary Energies series is inspired by abstract visuals I see in my mind’s eye when I meditate. Shimmering silver acrylic ink is applied to canvas with a Haku brush using long unbroken strokes to establish the main energy of these pieces; then a harmonious, often subtle, and soft palette of acrylic paints is applied with smooth and blended brushwork.

Steve's sculptures are made from metal, glass, and/or natural objects. They often take on the form of shields or abstract forms. Inspired by nature and technology both. Made with a protruding piece at the top that slides into a large size nail hole on the wall.

Steve’s paintings are made on wood surfaces with an oil and wax mixture applied by palette knives. He spends time feeling what he wants to add next to bring balance and harmony to his layered paintings.

I continue to be drawn to painting Moonscapes, ever since I first started painting. Imagining a moon scene really helps me get into my painting rhythm. Sunscapes, like the painting titled, Softness, are rare for me.

Spaces Places are a series of paintings that are all about otherworldly portals and windows to look through.

Limited edition prints and hand-embellished giclee’s from my series titled Crowned Ones. I think of the Crowned Ones as otherworldly sovereign beings, like apparitions, painted from my imagination.
